Dual Enrollment

Dual Enrollment Information for Students, Parents & Guardians

San Diego Unified Students

Students who are enrolled at participating San Diego Unified high schools may sign up through their counselors to take one online course at a time through iHigh Virtual Academy. This is accomplished through "dual enrollment," in which the student takes at least four classes through their main high school while also taking an online course through iHigh. Students must contact their school counselor to request dual enrollment with iHigh. A parent permission form and academic honesty agreement is required for online study.

Students Currently Attending Other Districts, Private Schools & Charter Schools

Students who currently attend schools outside of San Diego Unified are not eligible to dual-enroll in iHigh courses.

Students from anywhere in San Diego County who wish to attend iHigh Virtual Academy full time may submit the online application. We will provide information on how to obtain an inter-district transfer in order to attend iHigh.
